Belotero for Neck Wrinkles: Before & After Review

I’ve always had a naturally long neck, so I tend to choose outfits that highlight it.
Like many people getting aesthetic treatments in Gangnam these days, I wanted to keep that elegant, natural neckline.

But one day, I looked in the mirror and realized I had two horizontal neck lines that had become quite noticeable… I guess time really does catch up with you. 😭

I took some before photos, but honestly, the lines looked much deeper in person than they did in the pictures. These days, I’ve heard that more and more people in Seoul are starting neck wrinkle treatments as early as their early 30s, so I became even more conscious of mine.

Looking back, I think there were several reasons why my neck lines became more noticeable. The neck naturally has fewer oil glands, so it’s more prone to dryness. I also spent a lot of time looking down at my phone, which didn’t help my posture.

Compared to my face, I also realized I hadn’t been as diligent about moisturizing or applying sunscreen to my neck. I think these are lifestyle habits that many people in Korea can probably relate to.

So, after a friend’s recommendation, I finally decided to go ahead with the treatment! I was told that they had it done on a Friday and had no problems going back to work on Monday, so I booked an appointment for Belotero Soft treatment at a clinic in Gangnam.

It’s now been about seven days since the procedure, and to sum it up—I couldn’t be happier with the results. I would absolutely be willing to have the treatment done at the same clinic again.

First of all… it didn’t hurt. Seriously, it barely hurt at all. 😂
They applied the numbing cream very thoroughly and even wrapped the area to let it work properly.

I think it also helped that Belotero contains lidocaine, so the treatment was barely uncomfortable. This kind of careful attention to detail is something I really appreciated about aesthetic treatments in Korea.

Another thing I really liked was that they opened the product right in front of me before the procedure, so I never had to wonder whether it was authentic. The injection technique felt similar to a skin booster, with the product being injected little by little across the treatment area.

After the procedure, they gently applied an ointment and cream with a cotton swab.
Honestly, not every clinic pays attention to these small details, so I really appreciated the extra care. I could tell that the same meticulous approach had been carried over from when the clinic was previously known as Dr. Petit Clinic Gangnam.

I guess that’s one of the advantages of a clinic that has been established in Seoul for so long—the overall treatment and aftercare system felt very well organized.

You can get back to your normal routine right away. There were some small injection bumps, but once I put on a scarf, they were barely noticeable. There was no bleeding or oozing at all.

The bumps lasted for a few days, but there was almost no pain or discomfort. Honestly, I’d only remember I’d had the treatment when I happened to look in the mirror. 😄
I think this quick recovery makes it a great option for people with busy schedules, especially office workers in Gangnam.

I could already notice a difference by the evening of the treatment day. By day two, the improvement was even more noticeable, and I could definitely see the area looking fuller.

Since the treatment restores volume with hyaluronic acid, I was impressed by how much more immediate the results were compared to lifting devices. One thing I personally loved was that, starting around day three, my neck cream seemed to absorb much better.

My skin also felt noticeably more hydrated to the touch. I felt that this was one of the advantages of aesthetic treatments in Korea.

After about three days, I had no problem going back to work. If you’re worried about the small injection bumps, I’d recommend wearing a scarf for the first few days!

One unexpected benefit was… the brightening effect. 😂

I had gotten quite a tan after my vacation, but somehow my neck looked brighter afterward.
I looked into it, and apparently when the hollow areas are filled and the skin texture becomes smoother, the skin can appear brighter overall.

I wasn’t expecting that at all, so it made me even happier with the results.
I’ve also heard that this kind of natural-looking improvement is something that’s highly favored in Korean aesthetic treatments.

By around day ten, not only had my neck lines become much less noticeable, but the overall condition of my skin had improved significantly. My skin stayed well hydrated, and it just felt healthier and more balanced overall, which made me even happier with the results.

The Belotero Soft used for my treatment is FDA-approved, so I also felt reassured about its safety.

To me, having that level of safety is an important factor when choosing a treatment, even in Seoul. Would I do it again? Absolutely—100%. 😊

Honestly, I don’t know why I hesitated for so long before getting it done. 😂
The results were natural-looking with very little downtime, so I’d definitely recommend it to anyone concerned about neck wrinkles.

The clinic is still providing consultations in Gangnam, so if you’re considering the treatment, it may be worth looking into.
