Everything About Potenza Tips
Hello!
I’m Dr. Kim Yeon-jin, the chief director of UH CELL Gangnam (formerly Dr. Petit Clinic Gangnam),
providing aesthetic treatments in Gangnam, Seoul, the center of Korean aesthetic tends 🙂

Because it’s the rainy season, the weather feels hot, humid, and the air feels damp, right?
The weather is damp, your mood is damp… but we can’t let our skin sag along with it, can we?
So, what do we need at times like this? Lifting treatments!
Everyone, when you think of lifting treatments, what devices come to mind?
Have you heard of Potenza?
It is such a well-known device that those who are interested in Korean aesthetic treatments in Gangnam, Seoul have probably heard of it at least once 🙂
The treatment I will introduce today is Potenza!

At our Korean aesthetic clinic in Gangnam, Seoul, we have various lifting devices available.
For radiofrequency (RF) lifting treatments, we offer InMode and Potenza, while for HIFU treatments, we offer LinearZ (UltraCel Z), Doublo, Ultherapy, Shurink, and Liftera.
Among them, Potenza is a radiofrequency lifting device, similar to InMode.
Simple Summary of How Potenza Works
Potenza works by delivering radiofrequency (RF) energy to the dermal or epidermal layers of the skin, generating heat.
This heat creates coagulation zones within the skin tissue,
which can stimulate new collagen production, improve skin elasticity, and enhance skin texture.
This stable and controlled mechanism is the reason why
Potenza is widely used in Korean aesthetic treatments in Gangnam, Seoul.
Why is Potenza good?
Potenza is not just a lifting device; it is a treatment that helps improve overall skin condition.
✔ Lifting effects
✔ Minimizing enlarged pores
✔ Skin texture improvement
✔ Improvement of scars and fine lines
✔ Sebum control
With one treatment, multiple effects can be expected,
and in some cases, many people feel changes after just 1–2 sessions.
This is why Potenza remains one of the consistently popular devices at Korean aesthetic clinics in Gangnam, Seoul.
Types of Potenza tip
Potenza has more than 10 different types of tips, which allows for customized treatments
according to each individual’s skin condition.
The tips are broadly divided into two categories: non-invasive tips and invasive tips.
Non-invasive tips use an electrode method that contacts the skin surface without penetrating the skin.
Their main purposes are lifting and enlarged pore improvement.
Launch of 3 new Non-invasive tips

The representative non-invasive tips include Diamond tip, DDR tip, and SFA tip.
- DDR Tip → A basic tip that delivers energy up to approximately 2.5mm depth.
- SFA Tip → Stimulates mainly the superficial layer (HYBRID TIP)
- Diamond Tip → A lifting-focused tip that covers both the surface and deeper layers simultaneously
In Korean aesthetic treatments in Gangnam, Seoul,
these tips are often combined and used according to each individual’s skin condition.
Invasive tips (Needle type)
Invasive tips use a method where needles directly penetrate the skin to deliver radiofrequency (RF) energy into the tissue.
They are effective for improving enlarged pores, skin texture, acne, scars, and sebum control.

Invasive tips are largely divided into 1-pin needles and multi-pin needles.
- 1pin tip → Directly targets the sebaceous glands (similar to Agnes)
- multi-pin tip → Delivers radiofrequency stimulation through multiple needles
Among the multi-needle tips, the Pumping Tip is a unique and distinctive tip of Potenza.
Characteristics of the Potenza Pumping Tip
This is a method I also used very frequently when I was providing treatments at Dr. Petit Clinic Gangnam in the past 🙂
The key feature of the Pumping Tip is
that it does not simply deliver radiofrequency stimulation, but can also deliver drug directly into the skin.
When combined with collagen-stimulating ingredients such as McCoom, Juvelook, and PDRN, a synergistic effect can be expected.
The mechanism works similarly to cupping therapy,
where the needles move in and out while using pressure to help push the ingredients into the skin.
This is a unique method available only with Potenza, and it is widely utilized in Korean aesthetic treatments in Gangnam, Seoul.
Potenza has relatively less pain, bruising, and swelling, delivers energy evenly, and is a device that can help improve various skin concerns at the same time.
It can especially be recommended for those who are experiencing aesthetic treatments
for the first time, those who feel hesitant about injection treatments,
and those who want to improve skin elasticity, enlarged pores, and skin texture together.
