Ulthera is a German-made lifting treatment that uses FDA-approved Deep See technology to precisely target high-intensity focused ultrasound energy to the SMAS layer while peering deep into the skin. Depending on the target layer and skin type, the tip type (4.5mm, 3.0mm, 1.5mm) can be customized for optimal use. The commonly used 4.5mm and 3.0mm tips deliver ultrasound energy to the fascia and subdermal layers, restoring volume to deep cheekbones and sagging jawlines, creating a lifting effect. The 1.5mm tip is effective for the relatively thin eye area.

The relatively deep, difficult-to-target fascia layer is captured using FDA-approved DEEP SEE (real-time imaging technology). This allows for precise and powerful thermal energy delivery to the SMAS layer without damaging other layers.
