Recovery Care After Treatment, Without Changing Hotels

- Skin Care
If you want recovery care to continue right after your treatment, start by checking two things: how close your treatment room is to where you are staying, and who actually qualifies for free recovery care. UHCELL Clinic Gangnam and our Seocho location are both inside UHC hotel buildings, and UHC hotel guests can choose one of two recovery options — a 30-minute oxygen chamber or a vitamin IV drip — free of charge.
Hello, I am Dr. Kim Yeon-jin, Chief Physician at UHCELL Clinic Gangnam.
Patients traveling to Seoul from abroad often ask me a version of the same question before they book anything: “Can I get recovery care the same day I’m treated, without going somewhere else?” If your trip is short, where you rest and when you can fit recovery care in matters almost as much as which treatment you choose.
For a Short Trip, Decide Where You Will Recover First
Many of the patients I see travel from Japan, Taiwan, China, or English-speaking countries, and typically stay in Seoul for about two to seven days. On a schedule that tight, you need to account for the time it takes to get from the clinic back to where you’re staying, and whether you have any breathing room before your next day’s plans.
Before you settle on a treatment, I recommend deciding two things first:
- How far your lodging is from where you’ll be treated
- Which recovery care options you can actually use, and under what conditions
Our Clinics Are Inside Hotel Buildings
UHCELL Clinic Gangnam is on the 2nd and 3rd floors inside UH FLAT SIGNATURE Gangnam hotel. Our Seocho location is inside UH FLAT The Seocho hotel. Because both locations sit inside UHC hotel buildings, guests staying at the same hotel can move between their room and the treatment floor without leaving the building, which keeps the distance between treatment and rest short.
At the Gangnam location, we have Japanese-, Chinese-, and English-speaking interpretation staff on site, and treatments are available in private rooms.
I’ve written more about treatment-floor layout and privacy in Celebrity-Level Privacy: Why a Gangnam Clinic’s Layout Comes First.
Recovery Care Options and Conditions After Treatment
UHC hotel guests can choose one of the following two options free of charge.
| Option | Condition for UHC hotel guests |
|---|---|
| 30-minute oxygen chamber | Free — choose this or the vitamin IV, not both |
| Vitamin IV drip | Free — choose this or the oxygen chamber, not both |
| Both options together | Vitamin IV is charged at 55,000 KRW |
I want to be direct about this: the free option is for UHC hotel guests, and both items are not free together. You can confirm the current details on our official promotion page.
Which option makes sense, and when you should use it, depends on which treatment you had and your skin condition that day. If recovery care matters to your plans, mention it during your diagnosis so we can line up the treatment and the recovery schedule at the same time.
Recovery Care Does Not Replace Your Aftercare Instructions
Using the oxygen chamber or the vitamin IV does not remove the need to follow the aftercare instructions we give you for your specific treatment. Those instructions differ by procedure. If your trip includes long hours outdoors, or a sauna or spa visit, let us know your itinerary before treatment so we can walk through the precautions that apply to what you’re having done.
What to Have Ready Before You Plan Your Schedule
- Your arrival and departure dates in Seoul, and any open days in between
- Outdoor plans, or sauna/spa visits, in the day or two after treatment
- Which hotel you’re staying at, since recovery care conditions depend on that
- Past treatments and their timing, and any medications you’re taking

FAQ
Can I get both the oxygen chamber and the vitamin IV for free?
No. UHC hotel guests can choose only one of the two for free. If you use both, the vitamin IV is 55,000 KRW.
Does the same benefit apply if I stay at a different hotel?
The free-choice benefit applies to UHC hotel guests. If you’re staying elsewhere, please check the current conditions on our official promotion page or when you book.
Can I consult in a language other than Korean at the Gangnam location?
Yes. We have Japanese-, Chinese-, and English-speaking interpretation staff at the Gangnam location.
The shorter your trip, the more it helps to plan treatment and recovery together rather than separately — where you’re staying and what recovery care you qualify for both belong in that plan from the start. Tell us your schedule and what you’d like to address, and we’ll build the treatment and recovery order around your diagnosis.
※ Individual differences exist in skin response and recovery time. Please consult our medical staff for an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.
