The UH CELL Interior Story — How Our Space Came to Be
People who visit us for the first time often say something like this:
“It feels like a hotel — so relaxing.”
Whenever I hear that, it quietly makes me happy. From the very beginning of designing this space, I wanted to create something that didn’t feel like a typical clinical setting — something far more comfortable than that.
I kept asking myself one question:
“What kind of atmosphere should a space for self-recovery actually have?”
The UH CELL interior you see today is my answer to that question.
A Space Where You Can Truly Let Your Guard Down
Our bodies are influenced by their surroundings far more than we realize. Lights that are too bright, the constant feeling of being watched in a crowded room, background noise — all of these things make our bodies tense up without us even noticing.
That’s why, from the very start, UH CELL was designed with one goal in mind: to be a space where you can truly relax.
Anti-aging and condition care are deeply personal matters. The same treatment can lead to very different outcomes depending on someone’s lifestyle, stress levels, sleep quality, and current state of health. So instead of designing a space where lots of people are treated all at once, I felt it was important to create somewhere we could focus fully on one person at a time.
Each treatment area is separated, and we made sure there’s plenty of distance between the chairs and enough room to move comfortably. We wanted you to be able to sit and rest without feeling like anyone was watching you.
The overall tone of the space leans into warm wood and soft colors for the same reason. Rather than a cold, purely functional environment, I wanted it to feel more like stepping into a quiet lounge or a hotel.
I hope your time at UH CELL is more than just receiving treatment — that it becomes a quiet moment to check in with yourself and ask, “How’s my body feeling today?” When the body relaxes, the mind naturally follows, and recovery starts much more naturally too. That’s what I truly believe.
A Pause in the Heart of the City
Another thing I cared deeply about while creating UH CELL was the idea of finding stillness within the city. Gangnam is always busy and full of energy. But the people who live and work in that energy need somewhere they can step away for a moment and just breathe.
You’ll notice gentle ripples of water in different parts of our space. Just looking at moving water has a way of softening the tension in our bodies. The ocean image on the ceiling is intentional too — a chance to let your eyes drift to something far away and let your mind quiet down, even in the middle of the city.
The waiting area was designed not as somewhere you sit and pass time, but as a lounge where you can genuinely relax.
Recovery Begins When Technology and Space Come Together
I always come back to this idea: real recovery begins when the way we treat people and the space they’re in come together in harmony.
So designing the interior of UH CELL wasn’t just about making a beautiful space — it was about creating an environment where people could truly feel at ease.
Soft lighting, warm materials, generous flow throughout the space, and private treatment areas — every detail came from that one intention.
I want this to be a place where you don’t just rush in and out for a treatment. I want it to be a place where you can pause, refill your energy, and reconnect with yourself.
A Small Place to Come Back to Yourself
At UH CELL, we offer a range of programs designed to support your vitality — including NAD+ IV therapy, high-dose Vitamin C, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT). Beyond just bringing back the glow on your face, we want to walk with you through the entire process of restoring balance in body and mind.
Right in the middle of this fast-paced city, I hope UH CELL can be that small, quiet place where you come back to yourself.
